FAQ | Twisters Gymnastics Santa Clara

Question 1

What is the Twisters Kids membership?

Accepted Answer

The Twisters Kids membership is a digital subscription that unlocks the full skills library, the Twisters Kids bands, and exclusive coaching content on this site. It is separate from class enrollment — you can be a member without being enrolled in classes, and vice versa.

Question 2

How much does the Kids membership cost?

Accepted Answer

The Kids membership is a one-time payment. Visit the Kids Membership page for current pricing. Once purchased, access is permanent — there are no recurring charges.

Question 3

How do I purchase the Kids membership?

Accepted Answer

Go to the Kids Membership page (/kids/pay), click the payment button, and complete checkout through our secure Stripe payment link. After payment, you will be redirected to a confirmation page and your account will be upgraded automatically.

Question 4

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported on compatible devices.

Question 5

I paid but my account still shows as free. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

First, make sure you are logged in with the same email address you used at checkout. If your access has not updated within a few minutes, email us at info@twisterssportscenter.com with your order confirmation and we will grant access manually — usually within one business day.

Question 6

Can I share my membership with family members?

Accepted Answer

Each membership is tied to one account. Parents and guardians are welcome to create their own account and use the same household payment method. Contact us if you need help setting up multiple accounts for your family.

Question 7

What is the skills library?

Accepted Answer

The skills library is a searchable database of 179 gymnastics skills — 79 Twisters-specific skills with full coaching cues, teaching progressions, and video references, plus 100 FIG (Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique) skills for reference. It covers all four WAG apparatus: Floor, Vault, Uneven Bars, and Balance Beam.

Question 8

Do I need a membership to browse the skills library?

Accepted Answer

You can browse the full list of skills and see skill names and apparatus without a membership. Deep-dive pages — coaching cues, teaching progressions, and video — require a Kids membership.

Question 9

What is the difference between Twisters skills and FIG skills?

Accepted Answer

Twisters skills are part of our proprietary curriculum and include detailed coaching cues, teaching progressions, and readiness criteria written by our coaches. FIG skills are the international code of points reference — they show the official difficulty value and code but do not include Twisters coaching content.

Question 10

How are skills organized?

Accepted Answer

Skills are organized by apparatus (Floor, Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam) and by difficulty level. Each skill page shows the apparatus, difficulty rating, coaching cues, and a step-by-step teaching progression. Vault skills display a base value; Floor, Bars, and Beam skills display the FIG code letter.

Question 11

Are new skills added over time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We update the library as our curriculum evolves and as new FIG code cycles are published. Members receive access to all updates at no additional cost.

Question 12

What is the Twisters curriculum?

Accepted Answer

The Twisters curriculum is our structured approach to gymnastics education. It organizes skill development into six Twisters Kids bands — from foundational movement (Band 1) through elite-level training (Band 6). Each band builds on the previous one, following the natural progression of physical and cognitive development.

Question 13

How do I access the Twisters Kids bands?

Accepted Answer

The curriculum overview is available to all visitors. Full Twisters Kids band pages — including skill lists, coaching notes, and band-specific content — require a Kids membership. Log in and visit /curriculum to get started.

Question 14

Which band is right for my child?

Accepted Answer

Band placement depends on your child's age, experience, and current skill set. Our coaches assess each gymnast during their first few classes. As a general guide: Band 1–2 covers preschool and beginner recreational; Band 3–4 covers intermediate recreational and developmental team; Band 5–6 covers competitive and advanced levels.

Question 15

Is the curriculum used in all Twisters programs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Twisters curriculum is the backbone of every program — preschool, recreational, developmental team, and competitive WAG. The depth of engagement with each band varies by program level.

Question 16

How do I enroll my child in classes?

Accepted Answer

Class enrollment is handled through our iClassPro portal at app.iclasspro.com/portal/twistersgymnastics/booking. You can browse available classes by age group and program, select a time slot, and complete registration online.

Question 17
