RULES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS
TRIAL CLASSES
Twisters does offer Free Trial Classes. If you are interested in a class, then you may select "trial" under the Enrollment Type when enrolling into a class. Each student gets "1" Free Trial.
MAKEUP POLICY
Twisters' system automatically issues a "Make Up Token" when a class is missed. This token may be used for "other" classes during the week that are age and level appropriate for the student. However, once a "drop notice" is given in writing, "Make Up Token(s)" become VOID. Students are issued a maximum of ONE makeup class per month. This make up must be used within THIRTY (30) days of issuance. There is a TWELVE (12) make up token maximum per year (One (1) make up per month).
DROP PROCEDURE
PARENTS / GUARDIANS MUST NOTIFY TWISTERS IN ORDER TO DROP A STUDENT FROM A CLASS BEFORE THE NEXT MONTH'S BILLING CYCLE or your account will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month until a drop notice is received in writing. Only a written notice via email to info@twisterssportscenter.com, text message to (650) 933-8698, regular postal mail, or hand delivered to our front desk will be acceptable.
Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. At that time, you may attend your regularly scheduled class(es). Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he / she will no longer be attending classes or verbally informing an instructor of your wish to discontinue. These are not valid methods.
WHAT TO WEAR
Boys or Girls may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts OR leotard for Girls. NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face, so that it stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. All students should attend class with bare feet. Personal items should be left in the black cubbies in the Polka Dot Room to the left of the main office. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. Twisters' staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure that your student's personal items are marked with their name and brought home after every class or event.
ARRIVAL AND PICKUP
Be sure that your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) to his / her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your vehicle. During peak times, the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.
PARKING
Twisters' MAIN parking lot is located to the right of the building on the side of "Interior Door Replacement Company". This is where you will find the most parking spots. There are also six spots available to the left of the building on Meade Ave. Please try your best to avoid parking in the front parking lot during peak times (4:30pm to 6:30pm).
CAMP AND KIDS’ NIGHT OUT REGISTRATION / CANCELLATION
Camps and Kids’ Night Out (KNO) are paid in full before attending. If a cancellation occurs, then a refund is applied to your account minus 25% of the total charge. The other 25% may be used for other future events or classes in the form of a house credit. Campers or KNO attendees may arrive :15 minutes before the start of their camp and no sooner. Please make sure to pick up your camper immediately after camp is dismissed every day.
WAIVER
As legal guardian of my designated student(s) (student(s)), I hereby consent to all student(s) participating in this facility's program(s). I recognize that potentially severe injuries can occur in any activity involving height or motion, including tumbling and related activities including cheerleading, tumble tramp, trampoline, stunting, pyramids, dance, swimming, martial arts, gymnastics and physical activity in general. I understand that it is the express intent of all staff and personnel to provide for the safety and protection of my student(s) and, in consideration for allowing my student(s) to use these facilities, I hereby COVENANT NOT TO SUE and FOREVER RELEASE this facility, affiliated and partner companies and organizations, property owners and lessors, staff, contractors, subcontractors, teachers, coaches, owners, directors and other members involved in this facility's program(s), from all liability and for any and all damages and injuries suffered by my student(s) during instruction, supervision, and/or control during any and all classes or extra activities.
GROUP APPOINTMENT POLICY
This facility allows a single student to book a Group Appointment time slot and invite other students to attend, up to the maximum allowed number of enrollments. However, any fees for this Appointment booking will be the sole responsibility of the student who booked the Appointment. This facility's staff will not be responsible for "splitting" the Appointment fee among multiple accounts. Any "split fee" arrangements will need to be handled externally by the families involved.
FINANCIAL
I represent and warrant that if I am purchasing something or paying for a service from this facility or from other merchants through this facility that (i) any credit card or bank account draft (ACH Draft) information I supply is true and complete, (ii) charges incurred by me will be honored by my credit card company or financial institution, and (iii) I will pay the charges incurred by me at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes, fees, and penalties.
I understand that if I have a credit or debit card on file, then I am agreeing to automatic monthly charges (charged on the 1st of each month) for tuition based class(es), which include classes associated with Twisters' Little Twisters, Recreational, and / or Competitive Team Programs. I understand that I will be charged monthly until a drop notice is submitted in writing via email, handwritten, and / or text message. A voicemail message is not an accepted form of drop notice. I hereby authorize (if online payment is made or Autopay information is provided) this facility to charge my ACH draft, or credit card account. I understand that a written notice is required before the next billing cycle in order to terminate billing and I am responsible for payment whether or not my student attends classes until I notify this facility in writing to drop my student from class(es). Should I dispute a charge through my financial institution this will constitute a breach of contract possibly resulting in, but not limited to, penalties, additional fees, collection, legal action, and/or termination of any and/or all current and future services.
